Our Story
The idea was born on a long winter evening in Toronto, when a small group of game designers and developers realised something odd: millions of people love the rhythm of casino games — the spin, the suspense, the little celebration — yet many of them never want to gamble. The market offered them almost nothing.
So we built the platform we wanted to visit ourselves. A social casino with no deposits, no cash prizes and no dark patterns; just beautifully crafted games running on fictional coins, wrapped in the calm glow of the northern lights we grew up watching.
Duurzameregionaleontwikkeling Inc. was incorporated to give that idea a stable, accountable home. Today the lounge serves players across Canada in English and French, and every design decision still passes the same test we used on day one: would this make a relaxed evening better?
